Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 118:45

Abu Bakr ibn Zanjawayh narrated to us, al-Humaydi narrated to us, Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, Wā'il ibn Dāwūd narrated to us, from his son Bakr ibn Wā'il, from al-Zuhri, from Anas: That the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, held a wedding feast for Safiyyah with *sawiq* (roasted barley flour) and dates. Sufyan said: I heard it from al-Zuhri as he was narrating it, but I did not memorize it. And Bakr ibn Wā'il used to sit with al-Zuhri along with us.
