Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 118:6

'Abd al-A'la ibn Hammad narrated to us, Bishr ibn al-Sari narrated to us, Malik narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Anas: That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, arrived in the year of the Conquest, and upon him was a helmet. It was said, "This is Ibn Khatal, clinging to the curtains of the Ka'bah." He said, "Kill him."
