Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Yazid narrated to us, Sufyan ibn Husayn informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Ubayd, the freed slave of Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, who said: I heard Ali saying: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade us from keeping the meat of the sacrificial animals for more than three days.
