Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 3:20

Zuhayr narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Abu Ishaq, from Harithah ibn Mudarrib, from Ali, who said: There was no horseman among us on the day of Badr except al-Miqdad. And I saw us, and there was no one among us standing except the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, praying under a tree and weeping until morning.
