Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, 'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from Hakim ibn Hakim ibn 'Abbad ibn Hunayf, from Mas'ud ibn al-Hakam, from his mother, that she narrated to him, saying: It is as if I am looking at 'Ali upon the white-grey mule of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in the mountain pass of the Ansar, and he was saying: "O people, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: 'They are not days of fasting; they are days of eating and drinking—the days of Mina.'"
