Isma'il ibn Musa narrated to us, al-Rabi' ibn Sahl narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn 'Ubayd, from 'Ali ibn Rabi'ah, who said: I heard 'Ali, upon this pulpit of yours, saying: The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, entrusted me to fight the oath-breakers (al-nakithin), the oppressors (al-qasitin), and the renegades (al-mariqin).
