Wahb ibn Baqiyyah al-Wasiti narrated to us, Khalid narrated to us, from Muslim—meaning al-A'war—from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Ali ibn Abi Talib, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) sent me to Yemen, and he commanded me to forbid the *duba* (gourd), the *hantam* (green glazed jar), the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessel), the *muqayyar* (tarred vessel), and the *naqir* (hollowed-out log).
