Hadith 3:295
Abu al-Rabi' al-Zahrani narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, Jamil ibn Murrah narrated to us, from Abu al-Wadi', who said: We were with Ali when he killed the people of al-Nahrawan. He said, "Search for the *mukhdaj* (the malformed one) for me." The people went, but they did not find him. He said, "Go back and search for him." They went, but they did not find him. He said, "Go back and search for him, for by Allah, I have not lied, nor have I been lied to." He said: So they went and extracted him from beneath the slain in the mud. They brought him, and it is as if I am looking at him: an Abyssinian, wearing a tunic, one of his hands was like a woman’s nipple, upon it were hairs like the hairs that are on the tail of a jerboa.
