Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Marwan bin Mu'awiyah al-Fazari narrated to us, Mansur bin Hayyan narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Tufayl 'Amir bin Wathila narrated to us, he said: I was with Ali bin Abi Talib when a man came to him and said: "What did the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, confide in you?" He became angry and said: "The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, did not confide in me anything that he concealed from the people, except that he told me four words." He said: So he said: "What are they, O Commander of the Faithful?" He said: "He said: 'Allah has cursed the one who curses his parents, and Allah has cursed the one who sacrifices to other than Allah, and Allah has cursed the one who shelters an innovator, and Allah has cursed the one who changes the landmarks of the land.'"
