Zuhayr narrated to us, Waki’ narrated to us, Shu’bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from Yahya ibn al-Jazzar, from Ali, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was at a gap of the gaps of the Trench on the day of the Trench. He said: "They distracted us from the middle prayer, the afternoon prayer, until the sun set. May Allah fill their interiors, or their houses, and their bellies, and their graves with fire."
