Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 3:49

Ubayd Allah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr narrated to us, Mis'ar narrated to us, from Abd al-Malik ibn Maysarah, from al-Nazzal ibn Sabrah, who said: Water was brought to Ali, and he drank while standing. Then he said: "Indeed, people dislike drinking while standing, but I saw the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) drink while standing." Then water was brought to him, and he wiped himself with it. Then he said: "This is the ablution of one who has not committed a hadath (ritual impurity)."
