Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 3:61

Ubayd Allah ibn Umar narrated to us, Yazid ibn Zuray narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, Aban ibn Salih narrated to me, from Ikrimah, who said: I departed with al-Husayn ibn Ali from al-Muzdalifah, and I did not cease hearing him say, "Labbayk, Labbayk" (Here I am, here I am), until he reached the Jamrah. I said to him, "What is this talbiyah, O Abu Abd Allah?" He said, "I heard my father, Ali ibn Abi Talib, reciting the talbiyah until he reached the Jamrah, and he narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited the talbiyah until he reached it." He said: So I returned to Ibn Abbas and informed him of the statement of al-Husayn. He said, "He spoke the truth." He said, "And my brother, al-Fadl ibn Abbas, informed me—and he was the rider behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)—that he recited the talbiyah until he reached the Jamrah."
