Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 105:23

'Abdullah ibn 'Umar ibn Aban narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Fudayl ibn Ghazwan narrated to us, 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib narrated to us, from his father, who said: I was with 'Ammar, and he was supplicating with a supplication in his prayer. A man came to him, and 'Ammar said to him: Say, "O Allah, by Your knowledge of the unseen and Your power over the creation, grant me life as long as You know life is better for me, and take me when You know death is better for me. O Allah, I ask You for fear of You in the unseen and the witnessed, and a word of truth in contentment and anger, and moderation in wealth and poverty. And I ask You for contentment after the decree, and the coolness of life after death. And I ask You for a longing to meet You, without harmful distress or misleading trial. O Allah, adorn me with the adornment of faith, and make me among the guided guides."
