Muhammad ibn al-Minhal narrated to us, Yazid ibn Zuray' narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Abi 'Aruba narrated to us, from Qatadah, from 'Uzrah, from Sa'id ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abza, from his father, from 'Ammar ibn Yasir, who said: I asked the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, about tayammum (dry ablution). He said: "He commanded me [to wipe] the face and the palms with a single strike." And Qatadah used to dust [his hands].
