Al-Hasan ibn Qaza'ah narrated to us, Sufyan ibn Habib narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, from Khallas ibn 'Amr, from 'Ammar ibn Yasir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The Table (al-Ma'idah) was sent down from the sky with bread and meat, and they were commanded not to be treacherous and not to store up for the morrow. But they were treacherous and stored up, and they raised [it], so they were transformed into monkeys and swine."
