Abu Bakr narrated to us, al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, from Hisham ibn Sa’d, from ‘Amr ibn Shu’ayb, from his father, from ‘Amr ibn al-‘As, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) went out, then he stood and said: "Those who were before you were only destroyed by their questioning of their prophets and their differing with them. No one shall believe until he believes in the Decree (Qadar), all of it, its good and its evil."
