Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 51:16

Yahya ibn Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, Isma'il ibn Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from al-Walid ibn Ali, from Muhammad ibn Suqah, from his father, who said: I came to 'Amr ibn Hurayth to rent a house from him in his residence. He said: "Rent it, for it is blessed for the one who owns it, and it is blessed for the one who dwells in it." I said: "From what is that?" He said: "I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) while a camel had been slaughtered and he had ordered its distribution. He said to the one distributing it: 'Give 'Amr a portion of it.' But he did not give me anything and he overlooked me. When the next day came, I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) while there were dirhams before him. He said: 'Did you take the portion that I ordered for you?' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, he did not give me anything.' He said: 'He then took a handful of dirhams and gave them to me.' I brought them to my mother and said: 'Take these dirhams; the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) took them with his hand and then gave them to me. Keep them until we see what we shall put them into.' Then time passed as it did, until I bought this house. My mother said: 'When you intend to pay its price, do not pay it until you call me so that I may pray for blessing for you.' When I had prepared it, I called her. She said to me: 'Take these dirhams,' and she scattered them in it, then mixed them with it, and said: 'Go with them.'"
