Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 112:19

Muhammad ibn 'Abbad al-Makki narrated to us, Abu Sa'id, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, narrated to us, from Mubarak, from al-Hasan, from Anas, who said: Prices became high during the time of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), so they said: "O Messenger of Allah, if only you would set prices for us." He said: "Indeed, Allah is the Withholder, the Expander. I do not withhold from you, nor do I give to you. I hope that I will meet Allah while none of you seeks from me a grievance that I have wronged him with, regarding a person or wealth."
