Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 116:1

Ahmad narrated to us, Bahz narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Do not practice continuous fasting (wisal)." They said: "But you practice continuous fasting." He said: "You are not like me in that regard. I spend the day—or he said: I spend the night—being fed and given to drink."
