Ahmad narrated to us, Hajjaj bin Muhammad narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to me, he said: I heard Qatadah, he said: I heard Anas bin Malik saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace—and I do not know if it was something revealed to him or if he was saying it—: "If the son of Adam had two valleys of wealth, he would wish for, or seek, a third valley. And nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust, and Allah turns in forgiveness to whoever repents."
