Hadith 30:1
Mujahid ibn Musa narrated to us, Uthman ibn Umar narrated to us, Abd al-Hamid ibn Ja'far narrated to us, from Abu Ja'far, from Rafi' ibn Bashir al-Sulami, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A fire is about to emerge from Habas. It travels at the pace of slow camels. It travels by day and hides by night. It goes out in the morning and returns in the evening. It is said: 'The fire has gone out in the morning, O people, so go out in the morning.' The fire says: 'O people, so rest at midday.' It is said: 'The fire has returned in the evening, O people, so return in the evening.' Whoever is overtaken by it, it will consume him."
