Hadith 152:103
Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from Shaqiq, from ‘Abdullah, who said: A man asked me today about something, and I did not know what to say to him. He said: "What do you think of a man who is obedient, energetic, and eager for Jihad, while our commanders command us to do things that we cannot count?" I said: "By Allah, I do not know what to say to you, except that we were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and he would not command us to do anything but that we would do it. And the past of this world is only like a pool of water whose clear part has been drunk, and its dregs remain." "And one of you will continue to be in a state of goodness as long as he fears Allah. And if something troubles his soul, he should go to a man and ask him, and he will heal him. And by Allah, it will soon be that you will not find him."
