Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 152:229

Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, Fudayl ibn Marzuq informed us, Abu Salamah al-Juhani informed us, from al-Qasim ibn Abd al-Rahman, from his father, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "No servant ever says, when he is afflicted by worry and sadness: 'O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, my forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is executed, and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have named Yourself with, or that You have revealed in Your Book, or that You have taught to any of Your creation, or that You have kept exclusively in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my sight, the remover of my sadness, and the departure of my worry,' except that Allah will remove his worry and replace his sadness with joy." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, should we learn these words?" He said: "Yes, it is fitting for whoever hears them to learn them."
