Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Yazid bin Harun narrated to us, Hammad bin Zayd narrated to us, Farqad al-Sabakhi narrated to us, Jabir bin Yazid narrated to us that he heard Masruq narrating from Abdullah—perhaps he said from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)—that he said: "I used to forbid you from visiting graves, so visit them. And I forbade you from keeping the meat of the sacrificial animals for more than three days, so keep it. And I forbade you from these vessels, so prepare nabidh (a drink made from dates or raisins) in them, and avoid every intoxicant."
