Hadith 152:235
Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, Malik ibn Mighwal narrated to us, from al-Zubayr ibn Adi, from Talha, from Murra, from Abdullah, who said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was taken on the Night Journey, he reached the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary (Sidrat al-Muntaha), and it is in the sixth heaven. To it ends what ascends from the earth, so it is seized from it, and to it ends what descends from above it, so it is seized from it. "When there covered the Lote Tree that which covered it," he said: "Moths of gold." He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was given three things: the five prayers, the concluding verses of Surat al-Baqarah, and the forgiveness for those of his nation who do not associate anything with Allah for the grave sins (al-muqhimat).
