Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 152:275

Continuation of the Musnad of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (RA)

تابع مسند عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه

Hadith 152:275

Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from Simak, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad or 'Alqama, from 'Abdullah, who said: A man came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "I encountered a woman in the orchard, and I obtained from her everything except that I did not have intercourse with her. So do with me what you wish." He did not say anything to him, so he went away. Then he called him and recited to him: "And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember."
