Hadith 152:312
Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Abu al-Jawwab al-Dabbi narrated to us, Ammar bin Ruzayq narrated to us, from Ata’ bin al-Sa’ib, from Abu Abd al-Rahman, from Abdullah, from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace): That he used to seek refuge from the accursed Satan, from his *hamz* (stinging/incitement), his *nafth* (spitting/incantation), and his *nafkh* (blowing/pride). He said: His *hamz* is the *mawtah* (epilepsy/fainting), his *nafth* is sorcery, and his *nafkh* is pride.
