Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Ahwas ibn Jawwab narrated to us, Ammar ibn Ruzayq narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Amr ibn Maymun, who said: Abdullah narrated to us while we were in the Bayt al-Mal (treasury), he said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, came out to us while we were in Mina, then he leaned his back against a red tent, then he began to speak to us. He said: "Indeed, no soul will enter Paradise except a Muslim soul," three times. Then he said: "Are you not pleased that you should be a quarter of the people of Paradise?" They said: "Yes." He said: "Are you not pleased that you should be a third of the people of Paradise?" They said: "Yes." He said: "By the One in Whose hand is my soul, I truly hope that you will be half of the people of Paradise. And I will inform you about that: the likeness of the believers among those other than them is only like a white hair on a black bull, or a black hair on a white bull."
