Abu Musa al-Harawi narrated to us, al-Abbas ibn al-Fadl narrated to us, Umar ibn Amir narrated to me, from al-Hajjaj ibn Artah, from Yahya al-Jabir, from Abu Majidah al-Ijli, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "People should pardon one another regarding the prescribed punishments (hudud) as long as they are not brought before the rulers. But if they are brought before the ruler, he shall judge between them according to the Book of Allah."
