Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 152:44

Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr narrated to us, Abd al-Aziz ibn Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Mansur narrated to us, from Dharr, from Wa'il ibn Muhana, from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Give charity, O assembly of women, for you are the majority of the people of Hell on the Day of Resurrection." A woman who was not among the elite of the women said: "And why are we the majority of the people of Hell?" He said: "Because you curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands." Ibn Mas'ud said: "I have not found anyone deficient in intellect and religion who is more overpowering to men of sound judgment regarding their affairs than these women." It was said: "O Ibn Mas'ud, what is the deficiency of their intellect and their religion?" He said: "As for the deficiency of their intellect, it is the testimony of two women being equal to the testimony of one man. And as for the deficiency of their religion, it is that there comes upon one of them as much as Allah wills of days and nights in which she does not perform a prostration to Allah."
