Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 152:83

Continuation of the Musnad of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (RA)

Hadith 152:83

And from Jarir, he said: And Rukayn ibn al-Rabi’ ibn ‘Amilah al-Fazari narrated to us, from al-Qasim ibn Hassan, from his paternal uncle ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Harmalah, from ‘Abdullah, who said: Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) disliked ten traits: wearing gold rings, trailing the lower garment, and yellowness—meaning *al-khuluq* (a type of perfume)—and changing gray hair—Jarir said: meaning plucking it—and incantations (ruqyah) except with the two *Mu’awwidhatayn* (Surah al-Falaq and Surah al-Nas), and tying amulets, and casting lots with dice, and displaying adornment to those other than its rightful place, and withdrawing the water (semen) from its place, and corrupting the young boy who is not a *mahram* to him.
