Hadith 154:115
Harun ibn Ma'ruf narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Wahb narrated to us, Yahya ibn Ayyub narrated to us, from Ubaydullah ibn Zahr, from Muhammad ibn Abi Ayyub, from Abu Alqamah, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, from Abdullah ibn Umar, that he saw a freed slave of his called Yasar praying after the dawn [prayer]. He forbade him, so he said, "It is only what remained of my portion [of recitation]." Abdullah said to him, "Could you not have delayed it until it was later in the day?" Then Abdullah said, "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came out to us while the people were praying after the rising of the dawn, and he said, 'There is no prayer after the dawn except two rak'ahs.'"
