Abu Khaythama narrated to us, Waki’ narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Najrani, from Ibn Umar, who said: A drunk man was brought to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He struck him with the prescribed punishment, then said: "What is your drink?" He said: "Raisins and dates." He said: "Do you mix them? Has each one reached [the state of] its companion?"
