Shayban narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us, from Nafi’, from Ibn ‘Umar, who said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) touching the Black Stone, and I have not passed by it since I saw him except that I touched it." Nafi’ said: "Ibn ‘Umar used to crowd [others] for it, and when they saw him, they would make space for him. One day, I fell into a crowd of people; a man placed his elbow behind me, and a man fell in front of him, and I fell behind him. I did not think I would escape until they killed me, yet he (Ibn ‘Umar) insisted on moving forward."
