Abu ‘Amir al-‘Adawi—meaning Hawtharah ibn Ashras—narrated to us, he said: ‘Uqbah ibn Abi al-Sahba’ informed me, from Nafi’, from Ibn ‘Umar, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the *duba’* (gourd) and the *muqayyar* (pitch-coated vessel).
