Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 154:49

Al-Hakam ibn Musa al-Samsar narrated to us, he said: Haql narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, he said: al-Zuhri narrated to me, from 'Urwah, he said: I said to Ibn 'Umar, "O Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, we enter upon the leader and he judges with a judgment that we see as injustice, so we say to him, 'May Allah grant you success,' and we look at a man among us and we praise him." He said, "As for us, the companions of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), we used to consider this hypocrisy. So I do not know what you consider it."
