Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 154:50

Zuhayr narrated to us, 'Abdah narrated to us, from Hisham ibn 'Urwah, from his father, from Ibn 'Umar, that the Prophet (peace be upon him) stood by the well of Badr and said, "Have you found what your Lord promised you to be true?" Then he said, "They are hearing what I am saying." This was mentioned to 'A'ishah, and she said, "What does Ibn 'Umar mean? He only said, 'Now they know that what I used to say to them is the truth.'" Then she recited this verse: "Indeed, you cannot make the dead hear," until she finished the verse.
