Continuation of the Musnad of Abdullah ibn Umar (RA)
Hadith 154:84
Hashim ibn al-Harith narrated to us, Ubayd Allah ibn Amr narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) clothed me in a garment of silk from the garments of *al-Siyra’* (striped silk) from what Fayruz had gifted to him. I wore the lower garment (*izar*), and it overwhelmed me in width and length, so I dragged it. I wore the upper garment (*rida’*) and covered my head with it. Then he said: "O Abdullah, raise your lower garment, for whatever touches the ground below the ankles is in the Fire." Abdullah ibn Muhammad said: I did not see anyone who tucked up their lower garment more strictly than Abdullah ibn Umar.
