Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 154:92

Abu Hammam al-Walid ibn Shuja‘ ibn al-Walid ibn Bishr al-Sakuni narrated to us, ‘Abd al-A‘la ibn ‘Abd al-A‘la narrated to us, Dawud narrated to us, from Riyah ibn ‘Ubaydah, from Usayd ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman, the nephew of ‘Abd al-Majid—who is the son of Sawdah bint ‘Abd al-Rahman—from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar, who said: I wore a silk garment, then I came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) while he was at the chamber of Hafsah on a dark night. He heard the rustling of the garment and said, "Who is this?" I said, "‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar." He said, "Raise your garment, for indeed, the one who drags his garment out of pride, Allah will not look at him." He said: And my lower garment that night was up to the middle of my shins.
