Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 161:28

Muhammad ibn 'Abbad al-Makki narrated to us, Hatim narrated to us, from al-Harith, from his uncle, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Leave me as I have left you, and do not ask me about anything, for those who were before you were only destroyed by their excessive questioning and their disagreement with their prophets. So, whatever I have forbidden you from, avoid it; and whatever I have commanded you to do, follow of it as much as you are able."
