Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 161:41

Ishaq ibn Abi Isra'il narrated to us, Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from Suhayl, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: They said, "O Messenger of Allah, will we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection?" He said, "Are you harmed in seeing the moon on the night of the full moon when there are no clouds before it?" They said, "No." He said, "Are you harmed in seeing the sun at midday when there are no clouds before it?" They said, "No." He said, "By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, you will surely see Him just as you see those two."
