Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 161:44

Abu Ya'la Ahmad ibn Ali ibn al-Muthanna al-Mawsili informed us in the month of Rabi' al-Akhir of the year three hundred and six. Mus'ab ibn Abdullah al-Zubayri narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Aziz ibn Muhammad and Ibn Abi Hazim narrated to me, from Yazid ibn al-Had, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim, from Amir ibn Sa'd, from al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib, that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: "He has tasted the flavor of faith who is pleased with Allah as a Lord, with Islam as a religion, and with Muhammad as a Prophet."
