Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 161:61

Abu Kurayb narrated to us, al-Hasan ibn 'Atiyyah narrated to us, Qays narrated to us, from Yunus ibn 'Ubayd, from al-Hasan, from al-Ahnaf ibn Qays, from al-'Abbas ibn 'Abd al-Muttalib, who said: I went out with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) from Medina. He turned toward it and said: "Indeed, Allah has cleared this peninsula of polytheism, but I fear that the stars will lead them astray." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, how will the stars lead them astray?" He said: "Rain descends, and they say: 'We have been rained upon by the rising of such-and-such star.'"
