Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 150:111

Ahmad ibn Hatim narrated to us, Abd al-Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Alqama ibn Abi Alqama, from his mother, from Aisha, who said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I love to pray inside the House (the Kaaba)." He took my hand until he brought me into the Hijr (the semi-circular area). He said, "Pray here, for this is part of the House, but your people—or his people—shortened it and excluded it from the House."
