Bishr ibn al-Walid narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from Asim ibn Ubayd Allah, from Abdullah ibn Amir ibn Rabi'ah, from Aisha, who said: I missed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) during the night, so I followed him. Suddenly, he was at al-Baqi', and I heard him saying: "Peace be upon you, abode of a believing people. You are our predecessors, and we are followers. O Allah, do not deprive us of their reward, and do not try us after them." Then he turned and looked at me and said: "Woe to her, if she were able, she would not have done [this]."
