Musnad Abu Ya'la al-Mawsili 150:124

'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, Bishr ibn al-Sari narrated to us, from Sulaym ibn Hayyan, from Sa'id ibn Mina', from Ibn al-Zubayr, from 'A'ishah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to her: "Were it not for the recentness of your people's time in Jahiliyyah, I would have leveled it to the ground, added six cubits to the House from the Hijr, and made for it an eastern door."
