Ubayd Allah ibn Umar al-Qawariri narrated to us, Mu'adh ibn Hisham narrated to us, my father narrated to me, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Imran ibn Hattan, that Aisha, the Mother of the Believers, narrated to him that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) would not leave anything in his house that had a cross on it without breaking it. He said: Then she narrated to me another time, saying: While I was circumambulating the House (the Kaaba) with the Mother of the Believers, she noticed something. She said: "Give me a garment." So I gave her a garment. She said: "Does it have a cross on it?" I said: "Yes." So she refused to wear it.
