'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us, he said: I heard Layth narrating from a companion of his, from 'Ata', he said: 'A'ishah mentioned the plague, and she mentioned that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "A prick that afflicts my nation from their enemies among the jinn, a swelling like the swelling of camels. Whoever remains during it is like one stationed in the path of Allah (murabit), and whoever is afflicted by it is a martyr, and whoever flees from it is like one fleeing from the battlefield."
