Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, Abu Rabi'ah narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Sufyan, from 'Ubayd ibn 'Umayr, from 'A'ishah, who said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, Ibn Jud'an used to host the guest, treat the neighbor well, uphold the ties of kinship, and refrain from harm. Will that benefit him anything?" He said, "No, O 'A'ishah. He never once said: 'My Lord, forgive me my sins on the Day of Recompense.'"
