Abu Hisham narrated to us, Ishaq narrated to us, Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Utbah informed me, from 'A'ishah, she said: "By Allah, I indeed questioned the Messenger of Allah repeatedly, and nothing compelled me to question him repeatedly except that it did not occur to my soul that the people would ever love a man who stood in his place."
